Description

The Goodman® GSX160421 GSX16 Series 14 to  16 SEER Central Air Conditioner uses  environmentally friendly refrigerant R-410A (Puron) and features amongst the best energy efficiencies and operating sound levels in the heating and air conditioning industry. R-410A (Puron) is chlorine-free and prevents damage to the ozone layer. The GSX16 features a high-efficiency Copeland® scroll compressor. The compressor in the Goodman GSX160421 Air Conditioner Condenser is covered by a 10-Year Compressor Replacement Limited Warranty.

In order to achieve 16 SEER efficiency this central air conditioner must be installed with the manufacturer recommended Variable Speed Air Handler, furnace, variable speed modular blower, or Evaporator Coil and expansion valve (TXV). All 16 SEER systems will reduce your electrical bill approximately 7% – 8% more than compared to a 15 SEER system.
